subsidiary in Owensboro, KY or Louisville, KY. Respected leader in the breath alcohol instrument industry
seeks engineer to design, implement and test software/hardware targeted for embedded systems. Efforts will
contribute directly to new instrument development as well as to modifications and support of existing instrumentation.
You will Potential Work on Projects like . . .
- COBRA hosted service - we provide a service by which our customers instruments are configured to upload
their data
to our servers.
- PC to handheld devices rewrite in C++.
- Remote firmware update capability from WinCE. Possible new image storage on SD card and separate
application
that updates image.
- Digital wet bath simulator for instrumentation.
- Video output installation in possibly HDMI or VGA.
- Fingerprint sensor and web cam integration for breath-alcohol evidential instrumentation.
Idea Candidates are . . .
- Pursuing Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering.
- Experience/knowledge of:
(1) Digital software /hardware development for instrumentation.
(2) C/C++ program development in conjunction with real time operating systems
- Skills in developing applications and SDKs for Windows CE/Mobile platform.
- Solid written and oral communication skills.
